A 5-Year Journal

Last fall, some members of my favorite Facebook group were talking about doing a 5-Year Journal. My first diary was a five-year book with a lock and two tiny keys to keep others out. It was just like this one, except mine was avocado green. (Notice the price.)

The inside was similar to the one below from Letts Company in the United Kingdom.
However, this 5-Year Journal is more like the #ListersGottaList Challenge from an earlier post. Each person creates their own place for recording answers, whether it is in a book, on-line, or another place. A daily prompt is listed, and the same prompt is responded to each year for five years. Prompts are available from the Get It Scrapped blog, but people can come up with their own prompts. 

I am using the prompts and keeping my pages in this M by Staples™ Arc Customizable Leather Notebook System. It is perfect, because I can personalize the pages, adding or taking away, as needed. (The butterflies are vinyl clings added by me.)

One nice thing about this project is that it can be started at any time. Some of my Facebook friends started last October and November, but I waited until January 1st. Another nice thing about this project is it should be something to...
