I have previously posted pictures of several Sophie's Universe projects under construction. I finally decided that the one I would emulate is one by Patricia Anne Pierce. Her color choices are burgundy and cream. Here is the picture of her project on March 6, 2015.

Well, Patricia has been a busy crocheter. Below are photos of Sophie after Part 11. The photos are Patricia's own.

Patricia completed Part 12 on April 2, 2015. Below are the Patricia's pictures after she has finished 88 rounds and says it measures 57 inches (approx. 145 cm).

Patricia posted on Facebook April 3rd:
I look at the whole part that comes out each week and decide which parts need to be highlighted and then go from there with whatever color I have left off with. I am continually amazed at how different each Sophie looks by the way the colors are laid out. Each one is so very unique and beautiful!
It is time for me to fess up that I am only on Part 3. I decided to use cherry red, white, and true navy. Below is a picture of where my project stands.
The directions say that the wobble will straighten out in a few more rows. At this point, I think the blue makes the red and white center stand out. What do you think?
